About Van Rose Studios
We do not make videos. We shape how people understand what a business stands for, why it exists, and why they should trust it.
The studio
Van Rose Studios is a Dublin-based film and creative studio working with founders, organisations, premium brands, and businesses with a real story behind them.
The work starts before the camera comes out. First we find what needs to be understood — the message, the audience, the emotional tone, and the story that has to land. Then we film it, shape it, and deliver something that works.
The story is already there. Most people just haven't looked properly yet.
I grew up around music before film. It changed how I hear an edit.
The best work knows when to step back and let the subject breathe.
Every client has something deeper behind the work. That is where we start.
Led by Mike Van Rose
Van Rose Studios is led by Mike Van Rose, a Portuguese-born filmmaker, editor, creative director, and former music producer based in Dublin.
Mike grew up around cameras, sound equipment, tapes, cables, computers, and music. Before film became the main path, there was music production, DJing, multimedia, photography, web design, motion graphics, sound, editing, documentary, and commercial work.
For a long time, that made him difficult to define. Now it defines the studio.
Van Rose comes from a mixed creative background where sound, image, rhythm, memory, and story all matter. The work is not built around one technical skill. It is built around the ability to see connections.
There is always a deeper layer: the decisions, the pressure, the history, the belief, the craft, the human reason behind the work. That is where Van Rose starts.
Mike’s wider interests in history, memory, culture, myth, identity, and reality itself feed into this way of working. Every business, person, and culture is shaped by the stories they choose to believe. Van Rose Studios exists to shape those stories with clarity, taste, and emotional weight.
